Job Overview:

We're looking for a self-motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our team.

Reporting to our IT Operations Manager, you'll help maintain our technical infrastructure, support employee on-boarding, and work with low-code automation tools. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational systems knowledge who's eager to learn and grow with us.

We value autonomy, and need someone who takes ownership, works independently, while keeping things running smoothly without needing constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Linux Server Management: Maintain Linux servers and VPS instances across multiple providers; keeping systems updated, secure, and monitored. Troubleshoot issues and perform backups/restores when needed.
- VoIP Administration: Manage Cloud PBX environments, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and handle emergency recovery.
- Network Security: Configure and maintain a Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN); perform regular system health checks.
- User On-boarding & Off-boarding: Handle IT provisioning and de-provisioning within Microsoft 365 and internal platforms; setting up accounts, access, and equipment for new hires; revoking access for departing employees.
- Low-Code Automation's: Build and maintain workflows using low-code automation tools such as n8n to streamline business processes.
- Light Development Work: Write, and modify simple scripts (JavaScript) to automate tasks and integrate systems.
- Technical Support: Serve as an escalation point for the team when technical issues arise.

Qualifications (Required):
- Experience with Linux (Debian) server administration
- Experience with VPS and server management, SD-WANs/VPNs
- Basic VoIP knowledge or willingness to learn quickly
- Reliable internet connection, computer, and professional remote workspace
- Strong English communication skills
- Self-directed work style where you take initiative and follow through
- Experience with Docker
- Basic programming skills (JavaScript)
- Microsoft 365 Administration Experience

Engagement Details:
- Role Type: Remote Independent Contractor

- Hours: Part Time
- Location: Remote (Any time zone, however overlap with North American business hours is required)

Pay: CA$25.00 - CA$32.00 per hour

Clinical Scope (May Include)

• Primary care assessments and follow-up
• Chronic disease management
• Medication prescribing within NP scope

Indicative Time Commitment

• Scheduled onsite clinic hours ranging from a few hours per month to weekly sessions

Candidate Profile

• Eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
• Strong interest in correctional health, community health, or complex patient populations
• Ability to work independently within scope while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Comfortable practicing in secure environments
